Job Description

Vicinity Studio is looking for a Motion Graphics Artist. We are looking for an artist with a great eye for beautiful graphics and the technical skill set to execute on that. The artist will need to know C4D, After effects and basic Premiere Pro. For this role, the candidate will be a core member of our team and able to work well with the team helping provide solutions, technical know how, and manage small projects.

WHAT YOU\'LL DO

• Working with the team to execute Motion graphics projects ranging from simple graphic animations through to complex 3D scenes
• Developing treatments/storyboards/style frames for projects to help visualise ideas.
• Creating graphics in C4D and AE
• Creating motion graphics for other team members to use across other projects
• Building projects with adaptation in mind, keeping layers clean so they can be used for language versioning down the line.
• Troubleshooting challenges that arise in the projects
• Addressing feedback, internally and externally to clients
• Independently manage small projects
• Providing feedback to project managers to stay on top of timelines and flag issues before they arise

WHO YOU ARE

• Artistic eye \xe2\x80\x93 with a great understanding of design, layout, typography, graphics
• Attention to detail \xe2\x80\x93 making sure every layer is turned on/off correctly, staying on top of all feedback notes
• Organized \xe2\x80\x93 keeping files clean so that they are useable by the next team in the pipeline
• Good communicator \xe2\x80\x93 we work on projects as a team and communication is essential to that
• Proactive \xe2\x80\x93 seeking out problems and finding ways to solve them to help the team as a whole
• A solid understanding of the post production process from beginning to end
