N Sales & Projects Engineer (environmental System)

Job Description

Summary:

Reporting to the Sales Manager, this is a sales position in the field of environmental systems. Under the guidance of the Sales Manager, the Sales Engineer is required to enhance the sales activities of in South East Asia by searching for new customers, developing customer relation, growing the customer base and converting leads into sales.

Job Scope:



(50%) Achieve individual sales target by conducting the full sales cycle of lead generation, follow-up, service delivery and closure of transaction. Detail work includes managing and interpreting customers' requirements by talking to them and assessing equipment needs, preparing and delivering of sales proposals, technical presentations, show how the company's products are better than the competitors and following up with suppliers and stake holders.

(20%) Provide continuous after sales support such as helping customers identify problems with installed equipment (if any), recommending improved material, machinery or parts for replacement and maintenance. Plan and oversee daily activities in meeting the project progress and quality goals.

(10%) Execute and follow through the sales plan set by the manager with the aim to expand the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence in Singapore. Work as a team to gather information to submit tender.

(10%) Continuously improve on own's knowledge on supplier's products with the aim to introduce technology that add value to the customers.

(10%) Review sales activities with the management on a weekly basis, including the status of prospective customers, plans to meet sales goals and status on deadlines. Working with the Sales Manager, produces report regularly to communicate with supplier on sales activities and status of project.


Requirements:



Class 3 driving license is a must-have.

Ability to travel within Singapore as required up to 70% of the time. Occasional travel beyond Singapore.

Diploma or Degree in any engineering fields.

Prior experience in a similar industry with similar sales cycle with proven track record of success.

Experience in developing and executing sales strategies.
