Network Engineer (APAC) - Full Time - Singapore, Singapore

Join our Information Technology team within Group Functions in Singapore as Network Engineer to help us take our business to the next level.

In this role you will be accountable for:

• Design, install, configure, and maintain network hardware and software
• Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, analyse network traffic, and generate reports
• Develop, implement, and maintain network related security policies and procedures
• Perform routine maintenance tasks on the network infrastructure
• Respond and resolve L3 IT service requests
• Maintain accurate records and documentation of network configurations, changes, and updates
• Work together with Core Network Team to research and recommend new technologies and processes to improve system performance
• Work together with Country Leads to establish network lifecycle replacement plans
• Assist with development of Disaster Recovery plans and perform planned yearly tests
• Stay up to date on new networking technologies, industry trends and best practices
• Provide training to Local IT on Networking topics
• Vendor management - working with networking providers and vendors
• Hands-on installation experience in Network (LAN, WAN, VoIP, WIFI, Wireless Controller, WIFI Access Point, Firewalls, Security Gateways, VPN, 802.1x protocol, VLANs, L2/3 Switch)

Special Duties:

• Special site requirements; these are defined as a System, Service, Hardware, Software or Duty carried out by IT technicians within their responsibilities that is only provisioned from the site they are working at or have responsibility for.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• Educated to a minimum of IT Diploma.
• A Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science with focus in Networking or certified to CCNP level with 3 years of relevant experience.
• Minimum 5-7 years\' experience with responsibilities outlined.
• Technical College or CCNP required.
• ITIL Foundation or above qualification is a must. An in-depth understanding of networking and computer hardware and how these relate to IT architecture and corporate enterprise environment.
