Working Hours: Monday to Friday Working Location: Tanjong Pagar Basic Salary: Up to S$ 5,500 + AWS + VB (Permanent Roles) Great Career Progression and Friendly Working Environment Responsibilities: Prepare, plan, design, implement, maintain and support networking solutions and/or improving the current network infrastructure. Configuring and supporting network equipment including routers, switches, firewalls, WAN accelerators and monitoring tools to maximise network efficiency and security. Define and document all design, strategies, rules and implementation for network infrastructure, system and services. Sourcing and implementing new network security solutions to better protect the setup and conduct investigation faults in the network. Analysing and validating the security control requirements and tuning, defining the mitigation rules, scripting and performing changes or mitigating attacks, and assisting with troubleshooting support related to any issues which may arise from security detection or protection technologies. Collaborating across teams to identify and achieve the business objectives. Liaising with vendor SmartHand services. Require periodic after-hours/weekend support. Requirement: Degree Holder in Computer/ Electronic Engineering / Telecommunication or related disciplines. Minimum of 3 years solid experience in an ISP/Telco environment. Hands-on working experience on Router (including Cisco), LAN Switch, VPN gateway. Strong knowledge of network communications, routing protocols, regulatory standards and compliance requirements and common internet applications/standards. Solid Knowledge and Implementation experience with BGP, MPLS, IS-IS, SR, VPLS, EVPN. Practical knowledge of SNMP, DNS, Radius, TACACS and DHCP. Holder of transmission/data equipment certified qualification (JNCIS, JNCIP, JNCIE, CCNP/CCIE SP Track). Planning and system integration experience with Network and supporting systems, and network monitoring and modelling tools. Good understanding and hands-on experience of Linux system. Solid understanding of OSI layer 2-7 with strong troubleshooting experience in layer 2-4. Knowledge in system monitoring and backup tools. Knowledge of hypervisors, virtualization & NFV technologies.
