Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced

Network Engineer

with strong hands-on expertise in

Cisco networking technologies

. Experience with

Arista Networks

is

not mandatory but considered a strong advantage

. The ideal candidate will design, implement, maintain, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructures across data centers and cloud environments, ensuring high availability, performance, and security.

Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain

LAN, WAN, and Data Center

network infrastructures using Cisco and Arista platforms. Configure and manage

routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers

. Implement and support

Layer 2/3 protocols

such as VLAN, STP, OSPF, BGP, EIGRP, VRF, etc. Manage

Arista EOS

and

Cisco IOS/NX-OS

environments, including upgrades and patch management. Monitor network performance, analyze traffic patterns, and optimize utilization. Implement

segmentation, redundancy, and failover

strategies for maximum uptime. Support data center fabric technologies:

EVPN, VXLAN, Spine-Leaf architectures

. Collaborate with the security team to enforce policies and troubleshoot network security incidents. Automate configuration/monitoring tasks using

Python, Ansible

, or similar tools. Maintain detailed

network diagrams, documentation, and SOPs

.

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in

Computer Science, Network Engineering

, or a related field.

3-7 years

of hands-on experience in network operations and engineering. Strong expertise in

Cisco routing and switching

technologies. Knowledge of Arista Networks is

preferred but not mandatory

. Solid understanding of network protocols, architectures, and troubleshooting methodologies. Experience in scripting/automation is an added advantage.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $3,000.00 - $4,500.00 per month
