Job Description

Requirements

• Candidate should have 3 - 5 years hand on network related experiences in Cisco switching, Cisco routing, Checkpoint firewall, FortiGate firewall, Cisco ISE or Cisco Stealth Watch.
• Knowledge in ITIL process such as Change Management, Incident management etc.. would be an advantage

• Practical experience in configuring routers/switches (e.g., CISCO and Alcatel), firewalls(PaloAlto and Checkpoint), and intrusion detection/protection systems. \xef\x82\xb7
• Administration, support & maintenance of campus-wide network infrastructure including the following (but not limited to): \xef\x82\xa7 Cisco and Alcatel Switches \xef\x82\xa7 PaloAlto, Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper Firewalls. \xef\x82\xa7
• Recommend the optimum or alternative solutions
• Monitor and maintain service availability \xef\x82\xb7
• Accountable for network operations \xef\x82\xb7
• Network fine-tuning, problem troubleshooting, interpretation of statistics and traffic pattern. \xef\x82\xb7 Firewall rules configuration and security setting.
• Ensure procedures are documented
• Ensure SOP are up-to-date \xef\x82\xb7
• Follow up on requests, deployments & incidents/issues (including escalation) and ensure proper and timely closure \xef\x82\xb7
• Ensure that relevant parties (including the requestor/users) are updated on the progress \xef\x82\xb7 Maintaining and upgrading Firmware / OS on Network Devices \xef\x82\xb7
• Configuration and maintenance of Layer 2 and Layer 3 Switches \xef\x82\xb7
• Configuration and Implementation of Core Firewalls
• Configuration and Implementation of Network Access Control Appliance \xef\x82\xb7
• Updating documentation and diagrams to any changes to the environments
