Network Lead
Job Description
Develop and implement best practices and standards for the firms networking requirements.
Design and manage network topologies, including preparing VISIO diagrams and configuration templates.
Conduct IP addressing, documentation, and provide detailed switching or routing information.
Coordinate with end users to identify and address various network improvement needs based on system functional requirements.
Participate in preventive maintenance activities to adjust, maintain, and enhance network performance.
Investigate security issues and analyze causes of system failures.
Ensure compliance with industry best practices when integrating new network systems.
Evaluate network performance and provide technical inputs on system acquisitions to senior management.
Perform regular maintenance, backups, and system upgrades.
Mandatory Skills
7+ years of experience in data center networking. Strong knowledge of network protocols, specifically Routing Protocols (BGP/OSPF/ISIS). Proficient in networking devices configuration and management. Experience in network performance improvement and maintenance. Ability to prepare technical documentation and configuration templates. Certifications in relevant networking technologies (e.g., CCNP, CCIE).
Preferred Skills
Familiarity with Security practices and tools. Experience with bandwidth analysis and troubleshooting. Knowledge of cloud networking solutions.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven track record of managing complex networking projects. Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail. * Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
