Job Description
, initial diagnosis, ticketing, and prioritisation.
Incident response (L1/L2):
Troubleshoot per SLA, apply workarounds, escalate to engineering/providers, and drive closure with clear comms.Cross-border services:
Support IPLC/IEPL, IP Transit, MPLS/VPN; coordinate maintenance windows, change execution, and rollback plans.Change & validation:
Pre-checks, implementation checkpoints, PIV; keep rollback readiness and change hygiene.Performance & capacity:
Track utilisation, produce weekly/monthly reports, and recommend tuning/expansion.Documentation:
Maintain topology, SOP/runbooks, RCAs, and audit-ready ticket records.Shift coverage:
Participate in rosteredshift/on-call
to meet priority incident needs.What You Bring

Education:
Bachelor's inTelecommunications, Network Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science
, or related.Experience:
2-4 years
inNOC / network operations (L1/L2)
within carrier or large enterprise environments, operating to SLAs.Networking:
Working knowledge ofIP/MPLS, BGP/OSPF, VLAN, QoS, ACL, NAT
; familiarity withOTN/DWDM/SDH
is a plus.Tools:
Hands-on with monitoring/ticketing (Zabbix/PRTG/SolarWinds, ServiceNow/Jira/Remedy), basic CLI, and Wireshark packet reads.Communication:
Crisp incident notes, timely updates, and confident vendor/customer coordination.Language:
English and Mandarin
-- Mandarin is required to liaise with China-based technical teams and review Mandarin technical/contract materials (business necessity).*Eligibility:
Legally able to work in Singapore; open to night/weekend shifts per roster.Nice to Have

CCNA/HCNA/CCNP/HCIP
