Your Mission

Marlink is an international company with advanced maritime IT supplies globally. There is close collaboration across departments to adapt customer solutions on board installations. The network delivery team consists of smaller groups at several locations to deliver configurations and commissioning of equipment for installations and upgrades. The group consists of 10 people with locations at Stavanger, Rotterdam and Bratislava. We want to expand our network resources to Singapore.



Maritime communication connects available services such as Starlink, VSAT, 4/5G, Certus, OneWeb delivered through the Marlink router on board. Setup and configurations of routers, switches, voice and Wi-Fi are part of the delivery. The equipment is set up at the Marlink offices with the Fortinet solution, defined SDWAN rules for the available carriers


and applications.



We are looking for more employees for the increased demand for future oriented maritime IT solutions. There is strong demand for next-generation fast network solutions and


deliveries in a global market.

Main Tasks

Configure and prepare new network HW before shipment to our customers, including but not limited to, routers, switches, portals, firewalls, access points. Perform changes on existing network solutions. Working closely in a team internally in delivery and contribute to other network departments in Marlink. Customer contact during roll out process. Give feedback to Project Managers on ongoing tasks. Verify that solutions are working according to the requirements. Documentation of solutions and documenting work performed. Responsible and accountable for on-time and efficient processing of orders and tasks assigned. Implementation and testing of cyber and managed services are delivered as ordered. Network equipment handling in configuration rack

Qualifications & Professional skills

Fortinet NSE / FCP or equivalent. Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent. Good written and verbal English language skills. IP and networking.

Desirable qualifications:

Cisco CCNA or equivalent. Cyber Security / UTM / SD-WAN. Knowledge of Network equipment from Palo Alto networks, HPE Aruba or Cisco equipment. Other type of Networking equipment such as Routers, switches, firewalls, WiFi, PBX, IP voice. Cloud and Virtualization (Proxmox, VMware, etc). Microsoft Visio. Programming languages, scripting.

Able to work well under pressure. Dedicated and positive. Comfortable working remotely and able to collaborate and communicate effectively within a team. Team member. Detail oriented. Reliable. Independent and flexible. Customer oriented. Responsive.
