Job Description

• Position Title: Network Security Engineer L3/ Network Security Engineer
• Working Location: City Central Area
• Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am - 6 pm
• Salary Package: Up to $6,500 (Basic)
• Duration: 12 months contract

Key Responsibilities

• Provide Operation Support Services (OSS) for servers, network switches, network firewalls, routers, wireless access devices, SAN storage systems, security systems and backup systems which include troubleshooting, problem identification and resolution.
• Responsible for Network Ops & Security for the infrastructure
• Monitoring of the health status of the network equipment/(s) within the current IT environment.
• Conducting the daily management of network, communication, and security controls.
• Upgrade data network equipment to the latest and stable firmware version.
• Undertaking data network fault investigation and rectifications in LAN and WAN environments.
• Closely work with IT Head and GIT to ensure that network and security solution designs meet the requirements and best practices developed and applied.
• On-call 24 hours per day to respond to network and cyber security EMERGENCIES.

• Diploma/ Degree in Computer Science or IT, or with at least 3-4 years of experience in deploying and maintaining Server, Storage and Backup solution in Windows & Linux environments.
• Experienced in Microsoft Server 2008/2012, Exchange Server, Office365, Virtualization, VMware and Microsoft Hyper-V, AD Migration and System Troubleshooting, Email Migration and Troubleshooting, networking/perimeter network security / WAN connectivity and Cyber Security such as discovering vulnerabilities and risks in the environment, monitoring network data and ensuring hardware and software application are updated.
