Job Description

Major Global Bank is seeking for a Network Security Engineer for a mission critical role who will be based in Singapore and will be supporting their multi-layered network operations. The client is looking for a driven individual with excellent communication skills and network security troubleshooting experience.
The Position:

• Manage the day-to-day operations of the enterprise network, with a focus on security services including load balancing and proxy, both on premise and in the cloud
• Support Network Security Service programs for Internet and Remote Access connectivity
• Lead the support of on premise and cloud proxy solutions, in addition to load balancing services.
• Understand, and provide support for the full platform product lifecycle.
• Support the platforms and determine the best operating model that enables organizational productivity 7x24 regardless of geography.
• Conduct network assessments to validate an enterprise baseline and provide context for future network direction.
• Process customer requests for network configuration updates, such as proxy changes
• Make recommendations on integration strategies, platforms, and application infrastructure required to successfully implement desired solutions, in addition to providing best practice advice to other teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree preferred along with relevant industry certifications.
• 5 or more years of experience in supporting, monitoring, configuring, and implementing enterprise networks.
• Hands-on technical experience with proxy services, both cloud and on premise, such as Blue Coat and McAfee Gateway
• Hands-on technical experience with Load Balancing services, such as F5 and AVI
• Hands-on experience with AAA (Cisco ISE, Aruba, etc.)
• Experience securing a large inter network establishing and enforcing policies and monitoring access.
• DNS, DHCP & IPAM (DDI) protocols and security (Basic DNS and DHCP concepts, IPAM, IP addressing, VLANs).
• Knowledge of security design principals ensuring secure, scalable and supportable network service
