Job Description

echnical and Operational Skills:Responsible for day to day operations (BAU), administration, configuration and troubleshooting and/or debugging on network and security infrastructure such as Switches, Firewalls, Network Access Control and F5 BigIP GTM/LTM Load Balancer.

• Significant exposure to TACACS+, RADIUS.

• Good exposure to AAA, 802.1x

• Exposure to Network Devices Tech Refresh and device relocation projects (preferable)

• Performing Firmware Upgrades on Switches (Alcatel/ Cisco), Firewalls (Palo Alto, CheckPoint and Juniper SRX), and F5 BigIP GTM/LTM Load Balancer.

• Experience with network audits (preferable)

• Align to ITSM methodologies e.g. Change, incident management etc.

• Implement service continuity measures i.e. config/ backup restore procedures & disaster recovery plan.

• Knowledge on administering common TCP/IP services, including DNS, DHCP, HTTP, FTP, TFTP, SSH, SMTP etc.

• Perform hardening of network devices as per provided security standards and guidelines.

• Ability to work shifts and be on standby.

• Ability to handle and support alerts for vulnerability and threat

Switching:

• Configuring and Troubleshooting VLAN

• VLAN trunking (IEEE 802.1Q and ISL)

• HSRP, VRRP and GLBP

• STP Security mechanism (BPDU Guard, Root Guard, Loop Guard)

• 802.1x

• VTP

• QoS

• STP, RSTP, MSTP, PVST, PVST+

• Ether channel

• ACL

• Managing of Cisco Switches Catalyst 6600, 4500, 3750, 2960 and 3560 series

• Managing of Alcatel Switches Omni Switches 6850, 6860, 6900 and 9000 series

Firewall:

• Day to day operations, administration, configuration and troubleshooting of Palo Alto, CheckPoint and Juniper SRX Firewalls.

• Configuring new network interfaces and creation of new VLAN\'s

• Configure static route

• Static and Dynamic NAT configuration

Routing:

• Knowledge of routing protocols such as OSPF, EIGRP, BGP

• STATIC & DEFAULT Routes

• Inter-Vlan Routing

• NAT and Access-list
