Job Description

My client is a Renowned Telecommunications Company looking for Network Support Engineer.

• 5 Days / Up to $5000
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM)

:

• Implementation, and maintenance of the Telecom Core Network Infrastructure, with a particular emphasis on Linux-based systems and services
• Plan and deploy Linux-based services such as DNS, DHCP, NTP, and monitoring tools to provide foundational infrastructure support for the core network.
• Design and architect Linux-based core network solutions, including servers, virtualization platforms, and containerization technologies, to support business requirements and service delivery objectives.
• Manage system backups and network security protocols.

Qualification:

• Bachelor\'s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Core Network Engineer with a strong emphasis on Linux-based systems and services.
• Knowledge of Linux operating systems (e.g., Red Hat Enterprise Linux, CentOS, Ubuntu).
• Hands-on experience with virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, KVM)
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Bash, Python, or Perl for automation and scripting tasks.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, routing, switching, and security principles.

Requirement

• Basic knowledge on server hardware and operating system (Linux). - Basic knowledge on network protocols such as SIP & TCP/IP Layer
• Integrate Linux-based systems and services into the core network infrastructure, ensuring seamless interoperability with existing network elements and applications.
• Deploy and configure Linux servers, routers, switches, and firewalls to support network connectivity, routing, and security requirements.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of Linux-based network services and applications, including network traffic analysis, capacity planning, and performance tuning.
• Implement load balancing, caching, and content delivery solutions to optimize network resource utilization and improve end-user experience.
• Troubleshoot complex network issues involving Linux-based systems, including kernel-level debugging, packet tracing with analysis, and performance profiling.
• Experience in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting network infrastructures specifically CISCO routers & Switches.
• Good written and verbal communication skills

• A self-starter able to work independently but comfortable working in a team environment
• Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology and products using documentation and internet resources
• Ability to work with all levels of staff within and outside of IT and outside the organization
• Dependable and flexible when necessary
• Ability to work well under pressure.
