NPI ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate Front End Manufacturing Daily New Product Introduction (NPI) program meetings and processes, which includes scheduling day to day activities, tracking build and test progress, updating system developing and tracking management tools.
  • Work with Program Manager to develop work around plans to resolve manufacturing issues, schedule delays or other impacts to the NPI programs progress.
  • Effectively work with other departments, teams, and peers to solve problems and continuously improve the on-time deliverables.
  • Participate in program reviews, quality meetings, forecast, production schedules and material requirements reviews.
  • Foster, drive, promote, or participate in continual communications with BU engineering, manufacturing, sales, and supply chain teams. Inform all stakeholders of potential problems, opportunities and recommend alternatives related to NPI deliverables.
  • Track new Ops in SAP per quarterly build plan.
  • Support the monthly supply review portion of the Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) process with Global operations
  • Work with Operations Management to develop work around plans to resolve manufacturing issues, job delays or other impacts to the master schedule.
  • Participate and lead continuous improvement programs.
  • Help resolve engineering issues to support design and manufacturing teams as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned to support NPI program deliverables.

Requirements
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in the semiconductor, manufacturing industry handling NPI Engineering projects
  • Minimum Degree in Mechanical, Electrical & Electronics Engineering or related studies
  • Effective oral and written communication skills
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Experience in using Oracle or SAP system
  • Production Control, Forecasting and/or Project Management Experience
  • Experience with Parts and Inventory Management
  • Strong negotiations skills
  • Strong leadership qualities to exercise influence both throughout the organization and with external parties
  • Demonstrated ability working with minimal supervision and exercising judgment
  • Positive, energetic attitude and initiative, strong work ethic
  • Ability to work in a team environment, and leverage additional resources as needed
