Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage NPI projects from concept through mass production. Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain teams to ensure manufacturability. Develop and execute project plans, including budgets, schedules, and resource allocation. Conduct Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Excellence (DFx) reviews. Oversee process validation, equipment selection, tooling, and documentation. Ensure manufacturing readiness and ramp-up plans are in place. Drive continuous improvement and risk mitigation strategies. Coordinate with suppliers and external partners for tooling and materials. Monitor key metrics: yield, cycle time, cost, and quality during pilot builds. Provide technical training and support to production teams.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field). 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing or product development. * Strong project management skills; PMP certification preferred.
