Job Description

General Duties:

• Maintain the overall cleanliness of Cookery Rooms\' equipment, ensuring a hygienic environment.
• Support teachers by preparing ingredients for practical lessons, such as mincing meat and measuring ingredients.
• Monitor ingredient stocks in Food Labs to ensure sufficient supplies for teaching.
• Clean Food Labs post-lessons: sanitize workbenches and sinks, sweep and mop floors, dispose of waste.
• Ensure the cleanliness of equipment and workspace in designated rooms.
• Fulfil any additional responsibilities assigned by school supervisors and leaders.Monitor ingredient stocks in Food Labs to ensure sufficient supplies for teaching.

Job Requirements

• Completed at least primary school education.
• Candidate preferably have experience as an NFS Assistant in schools.
• Be able to observe strict hygiene when preparing food ingredients for NFS lessons;
• Candidate should preferably display traits such as service excellence, has a service oriented attitude, is meticulous with details and efficient in meeting work deadlines.
• Proficient in English (Oral and Written)
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Working hours

• Mondays to Thursdays: 7:00am to 4:30pm - 1hr lunch break
• Fridays:7.30 am to 4:00 pm- 1hr lunch break
• Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays

Additional info:

• Contract Period: 01 January 2024 to 31 December 2024.
• The timing might change based on school needs. School will communicate with the personnel 2 weeks in advance
• With option to extend (Discretion)
• This is an outsource role
