Personnel will be deployed at the following hours:
Monday - Thursday:
7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., inclusive of 1-hour lunch break
Friday:
7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., inclusive of 1-hour lunch break
Saturdays, Sundays, and Gazetted Public Holidays:
Service not required
Scope of Services
The Nutrition & Food Science Kitchen Assistant shall perform the following duties:
Assist teachers in the preparation of ingredients and kitchen equipment for students' cooking lessons and workshops during curriculum hours.
Perform general cleaning and maintenance of the kitchen equipment and workplace.
Conduct proper stock-taking of all perishable ingredients and equipment and update teachers of low stock.
Perform checks on kitchen equipment and electrical appliances to ensure they are in good working order.
Assist teachers in growing and maintaining the spice garden.
Perform any other duties as assigned by the school or authority.
Qualifications and Skills
The Personnel shall minimally possess the following qualifications, skills, and experience:
Educational Qualification:
Minimum PSLE certificate or equivalent.
Ability to
communicate in simple English
.
Preferably
1 year of experience
as a kitchen assistant or in a similar role performing kitchen operations and cleaning functions.
Physically and medically fit
to perform the job functions.

Pay: Up to $2,800.00 per month
