About the role:

IIX seeks a Manager for its Orange Bond Initiative. We want someone who first and foremost has a positive attitude and is passionate about growing the space through IIX\'s work. In addition, she/he is creative, a problem solver, who knows how to push the envelope, and is an incredibly fast learner. Responsibilities:

As a Manager of our innovative finance team, you will be responsible for:

\xe2\x97\x8f Supporting scaling and fundraising for the Orange Bond Initiative.

\xe2\x97\x8f Developing relationships with ecosystem actors from public and private sector.

\xe2\x97\x8f Leading the strategic rollout to scale the Orange Bond Initiative.

\xe2\x97\x8f Responsible for engaging with individual donors, DFI community, co-investors, advisors and other partners.

\xe2\x97\x8f S/he will be responsible for the design and implementation of financial solutions and mechanisms that create scalable and effective ways of channelling resources from the global financial markets, in coordination with IIX and other stakeholders.

\xe2\x97\x8f The Manager will lead the development and execution of the Innovative Finance strategy, build-out the team & networks, by working closely with the Director and Senior Director.

Required Qualifications:

\xe2\x97\x8f 4 to 5 years of experience

\xe2\x97\x8f Working experience of proposal writing, consulting, project management.

\xe2\x97\x8f Familiarity with international donor and DFI community.

\xe2\x97\x8f Understanding of sustainable development, sustainable finance, or gender-lens investing initiatives.

\xe2\x97\x8f Structured-thinking abilities.

\xe2\x97\x8f Cultural sensitivity towards working in the Global South.

\xe2\x97\x8f Passionate about women empowerment, climate action and diversity, equality, and inclusion.

\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent interpersonal skills, outstanding presentation and communication skills.

\xe2\x97\x8f High comfort level working in a relatively flat, non-hierarchical environment.

\xe2\x97\x8f Must be experienced and comfortable working in Word, Powerpoint, and Excel.

\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to present information in an insightful and structured manner, both written and oral.

\xe2\x97\x8f Highly entrepreneurial mindset; self-starter comfortable working in a dynamic environment.

\xe2\x97\x8f Desire to work in a collaborative, high-performing team environment, building relationships with other team members and managing a range of responsibilities.

Additional Desired Qualifications:
