What the role is:Woodlands Division was created to serve the expanding needs for policing services in the north of Singapore, due to the expanding resident population, retail spaces and transport nodes. Woodlands Division is strategically located to improve police response in the north and contributes directly to SPF\'s vision of making Singapore the safest place in the world. The Logistics and Finance Branch provide prompt, effective and efficient administrative and logistical support to Woodlands Division during routine ground operations, exercises, events/incidents and emergencies. As the OC Logistics (Management), you are required to lead a team and must have good-in-dept knowledge of operations-logistics requirements to support ground event sand operations.What you will be working on:1. Align Procurement Needs: Prioritize procurement needs, obtain approvals, monitor projects, and provide guidance on procurement methods. 2. Lead Governance and Audit Frameworks relating to risk management or the division: Establish governance frameworks, conduct audits in accordance to established PGOs/SOPs/Directives and agreed contracts. Analyse audit findings, propose mitigation controls, and assess effectiveness. 3. Inventory and Asset Management: Review, coordinate, monitor inventory and asset lifecycle, update systems, and provide expertise on IT systems. 4. Manage Infrastructure Projects: Monitor progress, hold meetings, oversee facilities management, and ensure timely completion of projects. 5. Manage Logistics Tea Supervise, provide guidance, maintain morale, and offer development opportunities for the team.What we are looking for:

• Have at least 3 years in public or private sector, with project management experience preferred. \xe2\x80\xa2 Knowledge of procedures and standards laid out in the SOPs/DSOs/PGOs/IMs, Finance Circulars and Directives required for the job. \xe2\x80\xa2 Background related to supply chain management, maintenance of vehicles, weapons and general equipment would be advantageous. \xe2\x80\xa2 Possesses good analytical and problem-solving skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Good organisational, administrative and management skills. \xe2\x80\xa2 Able to work within tight deadlines with officers from different functional areas (e.g. logistics and operations domains) and coordinate their activities. \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be able to respond to any contingency when activated, even if it is beyond usual working hours.
