5 Working days Working hours: (Mon- Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm) Working location: Tampines Job responsibilities: * Ocean freight and service rates procurement * To handle quotation for ocean freig 5 Working days Working hours: (Mon- Fri 8:30am to 5:30pm) Working location: Tampines Job responsibilities: Ocean freight and service rates procurement To handle quotation for ocean freight and its related services for SIN enquires and online bids To handle shipment bookings by sourcing for the best available service routing at the best rates possible To ensure receipt of a complete set of shipping documents (commercial invoice and packing list) To update client on booking status via return booking confirmation indicating shipment details, sailing schedule, and related HB and MB reference numbers To check for HTS code and ensure with compliance of destination requirements (e.g., ISPM, COO) and arrange for fumigation or certification application whenever necessary To arrange and coordinate shipment collection for LCL or haulage of empty/stuffed containers for FCL ensuring timely submission of shipment to meet the necessary cut-off time Any other shipment coordination between the client and vendor providing the necessary required service Job requirements: Minimum GCE 'O' level / NITEC / Diploma in Relevant Discipline Minimum 3 years of working experience in ocean freight forwarding operations and systems Good working knowledge of MS Office applications - Outlook, Excel, Word Incumbent with freight forwarding experience Tactful and courteous demeanor with excellent communication skills across all levels of stakeholders Meticulous, organized, and willing to go the extra mile to deliver excellent service or client . Independent with a keen sense for learning and adopting new skills .
