Job Description

What the role is:You will be part of Republic Polytechnic\'s Estates, which is a dynamic team that oversees the rejuvenation of the campus infrastructure, teaching & learning facilities for the well-being of our students, staff and other stakeholders.What you will be working on:

• Oversee and manage campus facilities, operation, repair, maintenance and relevant process/procedures with service providers

• Manage and supervise the performance of the service providers and Managing Agent to ensure they perform their roles accordingly and effectively

• Oversee and manage leases, its operators and campus events

• Manage internal and external stakeholders and ensure quality service is maintained by enforcing quality and user service standards

• Contract administration including procurement, specification formulation, evaluation, recommendation and work implementation

• Project management of renovation, addition & alteration works, and to support various organizational initiatives, events, certification and QEHS procedures/documentation

• Conduct periodic reviews on systems, processes and workflows that enable new ways of working and to accelerate digitalisation and adoption of new technologies to improve service delivery in facilities management

What we are looking for:

• Possess background in Building Services, Estates Management, Facilities Management, Engineering or related field with at least 3 years of relevant working experience preferred and experience in government procurement will be an added advantage

• Experience in managing integrated facilities management contract including landscape and horticulture works

• Sound planning and organizing skills, with a strong sense of responsibility for completing assigned duties on time

• A good team player with good communication and interpersonal and collaboration skills to engage stakeholders across all levels and able to work independently at the same time

• IT savvy with digitalization skills
