What the role is:Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager/ManagerWhat you will be working on:
Management of staff, student and/or public ICT application services which includes the establishment and tracking of project plans, milestones and deliverables in consultation with different levels of stakeholders
Strategise, design and manage the execution of effective development frameworks (including plans, processes, etc.) for software / application using industry best practices and methodologies, and the latest technologies or products
Digitalisation projects via in-house development using low code technology to address gaps in services to improve user experience and efficiency
Act as liaison between stakeholders and vendors to ensure that business, security and audit requirements are translated into system specifications, and to ensure smooth operations of the systems, and service levels are met
Work closely with vendors to design, configure, develop, test and manage the systems, and to leverage on commercial cloud to accelerate digital transformation and to adopt leading edge innovations
Continuous change management with stakeholders to ensure the effective use of IT solutions for different needs
Work with internal stakeholders and vendors to ensure that systems comply with IT governance requirements.
Leverage business data to provide insights for reporting, analysis and decision-making.
Keen interest to use emerging technologies as part of digitalisation.
What we are looking for:
Qualification preferably in Information Technology or a related field
At least 3-12 years of IT experience in IT project management and contract management, or with hands on experience with low code technology is preferred. A hardworking, dynamic and proactive person who is able to multi-task and handle diverse portfolios
Able to understand infrastructure and security requirements
Able to develop services using low code technology such as OutSystems and Power Platform
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and able to think out of the box to improve user processes and experience
Propose and implement process improvements and digitalisation with emerging technologies such as low code, RPA and business analytics
Able to work independently and as a team player with different stakeholders such as end users, application, infrastructure and security teams
Excellent communication (oral, written and presentation) skills
Preferably with vendor management experience
