What the role is:Office of Information Services-Asst Mgr/Dpy Mgr/Mgr (Systems & Common Services)What you will be working on:Assist in ensuring that all components in the Systems & Common Services are in compliance with the functional and IT security requirementsAssist in maintaining a streamlined Systems & Common Services by proactively seeks areas to improve and continuously research and evaluate new technologies/methodologies and give recommendation.Assist in ensuring smooth Systems & Common Services operations and in compliance with policies and SOPAssist in managing IT projects and coordinate with the other parties to guarantee its successAssist in managing vendors for projects and contractsAssist in planning and tracking of projects and budgetManages the training of new support team members on relevant work areasManages the training of existing team members or users on new software or changes to the Systems & Common ServicesProvide as an escalation level from application support team.What we are looking for:Relevant qualification, preferably in Information Technology or a related field.At least 4 years of IT experience is preferredA hardworking, dynamic person who takes initiative and able to multi-task and handle diverse portfoliosAble to work as a team with applications team, security team, or other stakeholdersStrong conceptual understanding on the following areas (preferably with work experience):Common services such as ePayment gateways, SIngpass/MyInfo, IT Ticketing systemDevSecOpsMiddleware such as API Gateways, FTP exchanges, ESBAbout Republic Polytechnic:The first educational institution in Singapore to leverage the Problem-based Learning approach for all its diploma programmes, Republic Polytechnic (RP) has seven schools offering courses in Applied Science, Engineering, Management and Communication, Hospitality, Infocomm, Sports, Health & Leisure, and Technology for the Arts.
