About the Department


The Retail function provides Personal and Business Banking customers with financial solutions tailored to their needs. We help them manage their money wisely and meet their financial goals through an extensive range of products and services. These include deposit, insurance, secured and unsecured loans, investment and wealth advisory services.
Personal Financial Services We design and provide products and services that empower our customers to enjoy greater banking convenience while they extract more value from their money. In particular, we are focused on promoting and developing healthy saving and investment practices across generations.

Job Responsibilities


The Accounts Origination Ops Officer is responsible for reviewing the department's procedures to ensure that they are documented in accordance to the Banking Ops Policy, abide by the regulatory and compliance guidelines / policies. He/She will work closely with the respective Team Managers in Account Origination Department, to refresh the SOPs, identify and assess risks, as well as to develop effective risk mitigating measures
Roles to be involved in:
  • Ensures that all unsecured and secured applications are processed with accuracy in accordance to the guidelines set by the bank, and within stipulated SLAs. This includes and are not limited to:
    • Process and verify authentication checks &/or data entries
    • Perform and verify accurate income computation
    • Ensure accurate input/output to enable good customer service delivery
  • Achieve continuous process improvement in COPC
  • Streamline processes to reduce operating cost and turnaround time without compromising quality and risk.
  • Assist with data analysis, report findings, recommend corrective actions and preventive actions for review
  • Handle administrative duties that include but are not limited to filing, printing, scanning,

Job Requirements


  • Able to multi-task and cope with change and diversity in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to think objectively and 'think outside the box' when analyzing issues
  • Possess a strong analytical and problem solving skills with excellent verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel, powerpoint and macro
  • Team player, self-motivated and resourceful
