Officer / Nursery Management (9 Month Contract)

Job Description
What the role is:
You will assist in Pasir Panjang Nursery\'s work including plant propagation, growing edible and ornamental plants, documentation of plant growth and management of plant inventory.
What you will be working on:
- Plant propagation techniques, plant care and documentation of plant growth
- Growing edible and ornamental plants
- Management of plant inventory and stock
- Support the nursery\'s involvement in events to create and deepen the public\'s awareness and appreciation of plants and nature
- A Diploma in Horticulture and Landscape Management/Landscape Design or related discipline
- Experience in nursery work, field work and plant identification skills preferred
- Enjoys working outdoors, doing field work and interacting with people
- Keen interest in nature, plants, greenery and horticulture
- Able to work independently and multi-task in performing a diverse range of duties
- Able to work in a team and contribute to the team\'s achievements
- Willing to work after office hours and during weekends and public holidays when required
