We have a Client relationship group, dedicated to overseeing the Organizational service performance and strategic partnership for our top tier client base, where we play a key role in supporting our global clients to ensure they have a first-class experience when doing business with Citi.Our Business Intelligence and Process Re-engineering group works alongside our Operations teams delivering automation solutions to solve for operational challenges. We partner with Citi\xe2\x80\x99s innovation labs to drive optimization, and overall play a pivotal role in enabling us to transform to achieve our target operating model.Our Technology partners develop and implement a wide range of applications that support the Operations, Change, Design and Implementation groups in providing innovative products and solutions. This is an Intermediate Analyst role within the APAC middle office team, part of the Markets Operations organisation. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing, high profile and energized team providing daily support to our global Traders and Clients.You will play an important part in helping to support the lifecycle of a trade by working closely with Business partners, Client\xe2\x80\x99s, and internal stakeholders to ensure all transactions flow through our front to back Operations teams, with no issues.You will develop a broad and detailed understanding of the Organization\xe2\x80\x99s landscape, culture, processes,and Technology. You will have the opportunity to recommend creative suggestions on how to improve processes to minimize losses from failed internal processes, inadequate controls, and emerging risk better serve our ClientsJob Purpose:The Syndicate Middle Office team is a part of Markets Operations, and supports the debt capital markets syndicate desk in the issuance of new bonds and other debt products. The role is an intermediate analyst level role, responsible for providing trade capture and trade lifecycle support, supporting the trading desk and coordinating with other banks in the execution of transactions, as well as continuously seeking to improve process efficiency. On a daily basis you will be interacting with Front Office (both Sales and Trading, and Banking colleagues), Settlements, Finance, KYC/Onboarding and Technology, so collaboration and communication skills are vital. In addition, the team sits within a wider fixed income middle office team, covering Credit Trading, Financing and Securitization, offering opportunities to support other parts of the Markets business.Responsibilities:

  • Provide analytical and administrative support to Front Office Sales and Trading specifically related to the debt capital markets (DCM) syndicate business.
  • Manage position records and risk limits in coordination with both Citi trading desk, as well as coordinating with counterparties across the syndicate.
  • Assist with both trade capture and trade processing for both businesses, as well as managing Front to Back reconciliations, identifying any operational risk, and assisting with any trade confirmation and settlement queries.
  • Assist with the onboarding and set up of new issuer clients, and manage the close out and revenue distributions following the successful execution of a deal.
  • May require occasional after business hours support for late night deal pricing.
  • Utilize data analysis tools and methodologies to make recommendations to senior management to support process improvement.
  • Design and analyze complex reports to support/control activities and make recommendations based on identified trends and facts.
  • Interpret data and recommend the launch of new products/ services or upgraded platforms that support pre-settlement processes and transaction capture functions.
  • Provide informal guidance and/or on-the-job-training to new team members.

Qualifications and Skills:
  • 2-5 years of relevant experience, preferably with experience working in a financial services role where you have had to be analytical, process oriented and delivered change.
  • Experience participating in delivery of change programs in some capacity and demonstrating business analysis and requirement writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders of different levels of seniority and from different areas of firm.
  • Motivation and intellectual curiosity to learn about the full \xe2\x80\x98front-to-back\xe2\x80\x99 process and related teams\xe2\x80\x99 over time to be more effective, rather than just thinking \xe2\x80\x98inside the box\xe2\x80\x99 of your direct function.
  • Requires analytical skills to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex material from multiple sources.

Education:
