Official Photographer (communications Advance)
Job Description
What the role is
The key function of this role is to provide professional photography service to support key office holders. This includes providing quality pictorial coverage of the principals\' local events and overseas trips, conceptualising and organising photo shoots, curating photos/videos for use in various platforms including mainstream media, social media, publications etc.
What you will be working on
This position requires the officer to work with different organisers and counterparts at all levels. You must be able to communicate effectively and build rapport with stakeholders to facilitate photographic opportunities. We are looking for photographers who are passionate about their craft and able to deliver under pressure.
What we are looking for
To land this role, you must have:
- At least four years of working experience as a professional photographer, preferably in a news media agency (portfolio of work to be presented at interview)
- Relevant IT knowledge in using post-production digital imaging and photo-enhancing software
- Good knowledge of documentary photography
- Basic knowledge of videography/ability to edit and produce videos preferred
- Willing to travel and work irregular hours including evenings, weekends and public holidays
- Good communications skills and a team player
