Your expertise Protechts People and Planet.This role will liaise between main office and customers from South-East Asia, Oceania and other part of the world on all aspects of pre-commissioning/commissioning, maintenance and operation of Kongsberg\'s Dynamic Positioning product range.Innovate for a better world with us. • Technical Support: Provide customer support, commissioning, and service on assigned Kongsberg Maritime Dynamic Positioning/Bridge product range.
• Remote Support: Offer technical assistance through desk or mobile devices as required by KM Global Customer Support worldwide framework.
• Client Relationship Management: Maintain good relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction and future business opportunities.
• Work Preparation and Execution: Properly prepare for and execute assigned work, ensuring it is completed efficiently and effectively.
• Documentation and Reporting: Generate service reports, update drawings, cable information databases, and other documentation as necessary.
• Performance Monitoring: Ensure that performance standards are met at all times, striving for continuous improvement.

Qualifications and experience

• Diploma or Degree in Electrical, Electronics or Mechatronics Engineering
• Relevant experience in customer service is preferred.
• Technical hands-on experience in maritime industry with background in automation, navigation, bridge, or DP systems.
• Technical experience with marine / offshore environmental sensors (preferred)
• Technical experience or understand marine positioning system (preferred)

• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in basic MS Office applications and a strong understanding of computer network systems/topology.
• Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of on-board system processes, experience with radio and electrical equipment operation and interference, or experience with C++ Programming (considered an advantage).
• Flexibility and Travel: Willingness to travel for overseas assignments, including the ability to travel on short notice.
