Can you meet the learning needs of young learners and parents (customers) in empathetic and creative ways?With the online-coding learning platform for young learners in place, we are seeking an energetic and lively Online Kids Game Coding Tutor to engage the virtual learning interaction of one coach to one student or 1 to multiple students in a virtual small-scale classroom settings. You will coach and guide the class with young learners and parents, as well as answer their enquires. You deliver tailored curriculum that employs brain-friendly instructional strategies to our young learners and parents. As a captivating facilitator, strong consultant, and guide, you are able to infuse learning theory into thoughtful and extraordinary customer experiences.Improvement Projects: You will also conduct consultative discovery sessions with young learners to scope learning needs. You are involved in design and deliver tailored curriculum that employs brain-friendly instructional strategies to the target audiences, as well as crafting improved the tutor coaching instructions/manual. Other responsibilities include continuously involve in improving our learning programs as we develop new offerings.Keep up-to-date on the best practices: You will uncover new learning needs and advise the management on the engagement and new assets and approaches to mature the learning approach.Who are You? Prior coaching, tutoring, teaching experience with young learners, preferably with virtual or online teaching experience. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply for a full-time role. Prior coding or relevant experience is essential. Strong interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to bridge the virtual gap by keeping students engaged and motivated. You are dynamic and articulative, with friendliness and openness. Highly adaptable with the ability to handle unexpected technical problems as well as challenging teaching situations confidently and professionally. You're comfortable flying solo but you also love lending a hand and being helpful to others. You enjoy success together with a team as much or even more than you do alone. And most importantly, you believe in the vision of Walnut Coding learning methodology. You want to be part of a smarter, saner approach to engaging young learners on coding.We are open to both part-time and full-time position based in Singapore . Prior experience with computer coding is required, as the essential skill lies in engaging young learners' interest on e-learning.
