Our client is an award-winning gaming company with a globally renowned online multiplayer game that has a dedicated fanbase, multiple successful titles, and offices all over the world. The role is to manage publishing partnerships in Taiwan/ Vietnam region

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managing relationships with publishing partners in the assigned countries
  • Ensuring that our client\'s games, news, and assets meet local publishing requirements.
  • Building and overseeing essential in-game and out-of-game publishing projects, working with internal teams, partner teams, and vendors to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Collaborate with other teams to obtain content and stay informed of changes and deadlines, support partners and vendors to implement publishing strategies that best serve local players, and maintain adherence to a globally consistent publishing calendar.
  • Analyzing multiple solutions and ensuring alignment across all parties to create a structured approach to publishing in the Asia-Pacific region.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in project management, client management, content operations, or similar roles within the gaming industry
  • Ability to read/write and speak Mandarin to liaise with overseas vendors
  • Past experience in product/ game/ partnership management on North Asia market is necessary for this role.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to identify holes in an operation and take timely action to create solutions
  • Experience prioritizing under tight deadlines and ability to judge the requirements of multiple assignments
  • Experience working with content management systems or project management tools
  • Excellent ability to communicate effectively, whether with diverse teams, borders, time zones or desks
  • Candidate must be okay to high frequency of travelling to the assigned country to managed.
  • Understanding of how successful publishing impacts players and how different strategic options for bringing games to market directly promote product reception
