RESPONSIBILITIES
About The Job
The Operations Assistant (Laundry) will be responsible for collecting linen/ clothes from residents' living area for washing and drying in Peacehaven Nursing Home.
Key Responsibilities
Tally linen / clothes received at laundry and report any discrepancies to immediate supervisor, for follow-up action
Sort linen /clothes according to type and place them inside the laundry machine for washing & drying
Operate laundry equipment
Fold cleaned linen / clothes
Deliver cleaned linen/clothes to Residents Living area
Check for any linen that are torn, faded colours or unfit for use and inform immediate supervisor for replacement action
QUALIFICATIONS
Speak basic English
Physically fit to do light manual task
Positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team
Comfortable with working on weekends / holidays when required

Working Hours
Under normal circumstances the hours of duty will be :
44 working hours, 6 days per week (according to roster)
