Job Description
Job Purpose
Involved in daily operation to make sure smooth operation and manpower.
Duties and Responsibilities
Supervising yard operations, including deployment of men and equipment
Inventory control, management and reporting functions
Lead, develop and supervise a team of workers to support the activities of the company
Maintenance and management of yard/workshop/office facilities
Ensure strict adherence to workplace safety and health requirements
Able to multi-task and co-ordinate well with vendors and sub-cons
Conduct RA Assessment
Able to operate forklift advantageous
Qualifications and Requirements
Diploma in Marine/Mechanical Engineering
Possess Shipyard Safety Instruction Course Cert (SSIC)
Min 5 years experience working in a shipyard
Excellent supervisory/leading and interpersonal skills
Possess Lifting Supervisor Cert
Able to handle English and Mandarin speaking clients
Fast learner, able to work in a fast-paced environment
Working Conditions
5.5 Working days per week. May be required to work beyond normal working hours.
