Job Description
:
Responsibilities:
- Processing of shipment/delivery of cargo, permits and issuance of Pass Out Note.
- Ensure prompt submission of manifest by agent and opening of vessel file before ship\xe2\x80\x99s arrival.
- Update of vessel activities timing in CICOS and close vessel records upon ship\'s departure.
- Check for balance cargo lying in port for closing of Balance Journal (BJ) and assist in safety enforcement
- Receive and release warehouse cargo and cars stored in Sembawang Wharves and tracking of water usage daily
- Order and supply diesel to users at Sembawang Wharves and maintain billing records and assist with administrative matters
- Keeping track of containers dwell time in the port, checking for overnight trailers parking and raising of store rent & container charges
- Attend to queries from customers and cover shift SOS duties in their absence
- \xe2\x80\x98O\xe2\x80\x99 Level, NITEC or Diploma in Logistics / Supply Chain Management.
- Other disciplines with experience in logistics operations management preferable in 3rd party logistics, distribution or manufacturing environment will also be considered Proficiency in MS Office
- Ability to work independently
- Good communication skills
