Job PurposeThe Operational Delivery Manager role sits within the APAC Operations team whose remit supports the fulfilment of content, metadata and artwork across Content Licensing, Branded Services (Linear and Digital) and Operations workstreams across the Asia business.The purpose of an Operational Delivery Manager within Operational Fulfillment is to partner with stakeholders to effectively deliver deals and fulfilment capabilities while acting as a point of escalation.The role is responsible for the management of Operational projects and backlog, including the priortisation and delivery of new solutions and capabilities based on identified faults, gaps and requirements that have been previously captured.Additionally the Operational Delivery Manager will be required to mentor junior team members.Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities

  • Accountable for driving the delivery process of projects and capabilities towards outcomes for APAC Ops
  • Apply industry standard practice to operational capabilities
  • Map, prioritize and drive APAC Ops project pipeline and capabilities backlog
  • Supports effective vendor management to deliver successful outcomes
  • Coaches teams on agile/lean techniques and mentors content ops executives
  • Responsible for maintaining delivery momentum and managing blockers, risks and impediments to progress
  • Responsible for ensuring deliverables are defined against clearly articulated outcomes. Leads continuous planning practices and ensures work is visible and there is an iterative plan to work towards that is actively communicated and understood by teams & stakeholders
  • Responsible for identifying and bringing the right people together at the right time. Understands how and when to include people in communications, agile ceremonies and to make decisions
  • Responsible for taking a lead on establishing healthy team dynamics. Ensuring teams are collaborative and communicating effectively with each other
  • Responsible for leading on creating an environment where continuous improvements of teams\' working practices can happen, including measuring success, inspecting and adapting
  • Actively seeks to improve teams\' working practices (including coaching on lean/agile practices) where needed
Knowledge, Skills, Training & ExperienceEssential
  • Knowledge of effective supplier and budget management to deliver successful outcomes
  • Extensive experience within the media industry, delivering projects and fulfilment capabilities
  • Experience in media supply chain optimization and process standardization
  • Understands the different phases and best practices of content fulfilment and sister functions (such as localization and compliance)
  • Be adept at breaking down barriers for your teams with the ability to plan at a higher level and get into the detail to make things happen when needed
  • Able to mediate between teams and individuals to successful outcomes ensuring teams are collaborating and communicating well with each other
  • Have knowledge of a variety of agile practices and how best to apply these
  • Able to communicate effectively across team boundaries to create trust and can effectively reacts and responds to challenge
  • Be a team player and active listener who can give clear, actionable feedback, allowing you to build trust, manage complex team dynamics, and motivate everyone to work towards a common goal
  • Able to influence and make positive changes to a team, teams or an organisation
  • Have demonstrable experience in matrix-managing multi-disciplinary teams and be able to influence, bridge specialisms and navigate ambiguity
