In this role You participate purchasing and logistic activities of boiler system projects to Power, Offshore and Cruise & Ferry applications all over the world.As an operational purchaser you participate both to the daily project purchasing process and strategic purchasing of technical equipment & components to our project deliveries.In project purchasing you are responsible for the purchasing of technical components, technical equipment according to the project specifications. This purchasing will also include spare part purchasing according to customer orders. Operational purchaser works closely with internal project organization as well as suppliers and other external stakeholders. Work may include travelling.As a logistic coordinator You will arrange transportations for material and equipment to be delivered from different destinations either to our own locations or sites all around the world. You will be part of taking care of relationship between us and transportation companies.What You KnowYou have 5-10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience of successful project work within technical projects; either purchasing or logistic experience is a benefitApplicable technical education (M.Sc./B.Sc.)You have technical experience from offshore, shipbuilding, power plant, process or manufacturing industryYou have knowledge of technical components (valves, pumps, instruments)You get motivated from challenges and can maintain high performance while working under pressureYou have good negotiation skills and ability to make decisionsYou are cooperative team player and able to communicate in fluent English.You have systematic working style and solution finding ability and you are willing to develop your daily workYou are used to work with an ERP systemYou have ability to structure and organize your work and a commitment to deliver agreed resultsWhat\xe2\x80\x99s In It For YouWe offer a challenging position in an open and friendly environment where we help each other to develop and create value.
