Leverage your Project Management experience to lead a key transformation program in Macquarie\'s Commodity and Global Markets\' operational risk team.

We are looking for a Project Manager for our operational risk team which is responsible for processes, practices and systems to improve operational risk within Macquarie\'s investment banking business.

As Project Manager, you will drive delivery of a major transformation programme that seeks to upgrade Macquarie\'s Commodity and Global Markets\' operational risk environment with regard to standardising trade capture and trade booking standards, uplifting source data systems and enhancing governance standards to improve operational controls and reduce risk of unauthorised trading.

You will be working with stakeholders in business, operational risk, operations, finance and technology to lead delivery of projects to meet quality, schedule, and budget objectives while appropriately identifying, managing and reducing risks.

Ideally, you will have eight to ten years of project management experience leading similar transformation programs in the capital markets sector.

Your key areas of responsibility include:

• Implementing and leading project governance of the transformation programme
• Forming project teams with representation from relevant stakeholders
• Preparing end-to-end project plans with resource and budget forecasts
• Getting alignment and sign-off from all stakeholders with regard to the project plan
• Tracking project progress and mitigating project risks and issues
• Ensuring project deliveries are on schedule and within budget
• Managing key stakeholders to address project risks and issues
• Preparing project status reports and updates
• Managing project resourcing and budget

Ideally, you will have good written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated experience managing and organising a broad range of stakeholders. Experience working in the capital markets is preferred. Experience with managing operational risk is a plus.

You will have considerable experience using Agile deliveries in the capital markets space. You will be a fast learner and establish strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will thrive under pressure and look forward to new challenges.
