A promising Operations and Confirmations Analyst job opportunity has just become available at a global commodities firm in Singapore.
About the Operations and Confirmations Analyst Role:
Reporting to the Operations Manager, this is a role for an ambitious professional capable of working both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensuring trades, settlements and invoicing reports are processed accurately and punctually
- Producing and reviewing trade confirmations for clients and counterparties for vanilla and structured deals
- Performing reconciliation processes; identifying, investigating discrepancies and resolving or escalating as appropriate
- Working closely with international offices to support their operations when required
- Participating in Operational Improvement projects and testing processes on an ad hoc basis
Key Requirements:
- Previous experience in trade operations or confirmations highly preferred
- An understanding of financial markets, particularly commodities
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
- Experience with the Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel and Word
