We are looking for a permanent

Operations Coordinator

To join our committed, dynamic and high performing regional Operations team. In your role you are involved in the day-to-day commercially proactive planning, implementation and optimization of the commercial contracts. You apply the operational processes in an effective and efficient manner executing the cargo shipments by vessel, barge, flexibags and trucks from contract conclusion to invoicing.

Your part in Neste's journey

You will work closely with suppliers and customers, inspectors and and other stakeholders. Your main internal stakeholders include terminal and logistics planning team members, sales and supply managers, supply chain planners, finance, laboratory etc. Together we ensure high level customer and supplier experience.

The work will combine commercial understanding with accuracy, execution excellence and cooperative collaboration as well as the desire to develop and renew.

Main responsibilities in this role

Day-to-day management of individual operations and commercial contract execution and optimization

Timely and accurate data entries for all contracts/transactions

Support the team in operational challenges, growing commercial and operational awareness

Drive accurate and professional work performance in the team to minimize deviations to the operational processes and resulting costs

Early involvement in cargo deal, offer and contract preparation with internal and external stakeholders

Initiate and participate in process work improvement & automation productivity projects/initiatives

Keys to success in this role

The best combination of experiences, skills and background are

Extensive operational knowledge of the oil and renewable industry or relevant transferable skills.

Experience in international commodity business, operations, inventory, logistics and various modes of transport

Experience and knowledge of operations workflow and efficient ways of carrying out operations (preferably in Jet cargoes)

Comprehensive ERP system knowledge

Ability to understand Neste business models and processes in the bigger picture

Inquisitive/analytical mindset to constructively challenge work processes towards higher productivity/efficiency

Good and proactive communication and collaboration skills

Fluency in written and oral English, preferably also local language skills

Performance and result driven

Commercial awareness - ability to understand drivers of a commercial trade and associated P&L

Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant area, e.g. from business or technology / or significant post qualification experience. Those without the said education qualification but with extensive operations experience in relevant industry are also invited to apply
