Operations Executive ( $4.5k Import / Export / Shipping Docs Exp)

Job Description
- Salary up to $4.5k

Reporting to the Operations Manager, he/she is to ensure the smooth facilitation and processing of customer\'s shipments within required Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and timeframes.
- To provide full customer service support.
- To make all suitable and relevant arrangements for handling of shipments.
- To ensure accurate and timely production of relevant documentation (including but not limited to import/export declarations, customs clearance, MES declarations).
- To assist with or prepare spot quotations, data for tender documents.
- To complete all tasks and administration relating to local services such as trucking, warehousing services including full hub operations, cargo surveys etc where applicable.
- To complete all required file administration including documentation, file closing etc.
- Any other tasks allocated/instructed by the hiring manager and/or management.
- At least 2-5 years working within sea/air freight forwarding industry
- Experiences in Import and Export Permit Declarations
- Experience handling shipments related to the oil & gas, projects etc industry is an advantage ( not a must)
- Can work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Independent and Proactive
