Key Responsibilities

Estate & Facility Operations

Oversee upkeep and maintenance of buildings as assigned Implement preventive and corrective maintenance for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other key systems Conduct regular inspections, initiate repairs, and recommend improvements Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and Ministry of Education guidelines Address facility-related feedback promptly to ensure smooth operations Prepare the premises for daily activities

Operations Management

Ensure timely opening of the institution daily Manage traffic flow during morning peak hours to ensure safety and order Provide front-desk support when needed

Security Management

Oversee daily security operations and manage outsourced security personnel Manage morning drop-off points and monitor CCTV footage requests Administer staff card access systems and parking decal issuance

Project Management

Plan, coordinate, and supervise renovation, repair, and improvement projects Prepare specification documents and reports for procurement processes Supervise contractors to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards Verify project completion and quality assurance prior to payment processing

Event & Logistics Support

Assist in event logistics, including venue setup and equipment movement Support daily operational logistics as needed

Job Requirements

Diploma in Facilities Management or equivalent qualification preferred; candidates with 5+ years relevant experience will be considered Minimum 3 years' experience in facilities management, including security personnel oversight, preferably in an educational environment Proven experience managing renovation, repair, and improvement projects Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance protocols, and safety standards Excellent communication skills for stakeholder and vendor liaison Physically fit and able to carry equipment (chairs, tables) when required Willingness to work occasional weekends to support events Self-motivated team player with ability to work independently and lead projects
