Job Description

• Position: Operations Executive (Purchase Order/Shipping)
• Location: Bukit Merah (1 min walk from Opp Bukit Merah Sec School Bus Stop)
• Working Hours: Mondays to Fridays | 08:45am to 6:00pm
• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $4,000 + 14 Days Annual Leave + Performance Bonus + Variable Bonus + $50 Mobile Reimbursement every month
• Duration: Permanent
• Industry: Oil & Gas Industry

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with end users and vendors on sourcing, assist in negotiating and evaluation
• Demand planning based on customers\' requirements and forecast
• Get quotation and lead time from supplier, create purchase requisition for MD\'s approval
• Generate Purchase Order, handle Delivery Orders, Invoices and shipping documents
• Get the best rates from courier/forwarder; arrange Cargo to be import to Singapore with insurance covered
• Good recording and filing skills including maintaining a spreadsheet to monitor all the shipment and ensuring cargo reaches the warehouse on time
• Identify potential suppliers and maintain good relationships with end users and vendors
• Resolve supply, quality, service, invoicing
• Any ad hoc duties assigned

Requirements:

• Minimum O Levels
• Minimum 2 years local purchasing experience
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP B1
• Familiar with issuing and handling Purchase Order, Service Order, Shipping documents etc
• Must be bilingual in English and Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin speaking associates in view of business communications
