Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Committed to do everything possible to prevent injuries and to maintain a safe and healthy environment
• To support the OSH program and make safety and health a part of their daily routine and to ensure that they are following safe work methods and relevant regulations
• Monitor calls, traffic volume and allocate resources based on situation/requirements
• Gather, monitor, analyze and validate data in reports
• Check and verify drivers' trip forms with deployment
• Attend to customer's enquiries relating to documents
• Planning and development of prime mover drivers processing Portnet and Jurong Port online
• Responsible for vehicle maintenance and repair status
• Prepare and check all shipping documents to ensure that they are complete and comply with customers to ensure deliveries are fulfilled
• Ensure all drivers are aware of specific customer requirements and monitor GPS tracking system to keep track of the progress that drivers go along with the assigned routes
• Prioritize urgent request and ensure deliveries are made on time
• Monitor drivers movement to ensure KPI are met
• To standby/handle 24/7 duty phone (rotation) during operations
• Handle customers feedback, other administrative and perform any other duties assigned by Transport Manager
• Able to handle huge fleet of Prime Movers and drivers

• Good communication skills (both verbal and written) and excellent organizational abilities
• Capable to work independently
• Able to work under pressure and willing to take responsibility and accountability of their role
• Capable of identifying and suggesting improvements
• Willing to work on 24/7 standby to answer agent/client queries on supply status
• Excellent MS office skills: PowerPoint Presentation, Excel and Words
• GCE "O" level or Diploma holder on Logistics/Supply Chain Management
• At least 3 years relevant experience in 3rd party logistics, preferably in Traffic Planning and work force planning and allocations
