Be part of the Fixed Income, Currencies and Commodities (FICC) Middle Office Project Team that is responsible for driving transformation across a multitude of projects for multiple business lines.

The team is responsible for developing and using the latest technology to deliver industry-leading capabilities to our clients and customers, making it easy and convenient to do business with the firm. Teams also drive growth by refining technology-driven customer and client experiences that put users first, providing an unparalleled experience.

As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for managing projects on operational efficiencies, scalability and regulatory requirements for FICC to maintain JPMorgan\'s competitiveness and full compliance with the evolving legislation from regulators.

The role will require you to build strong partnership with numerous teams such as FICC Middle Offices, Business Management, Global Project Management and Technology on a regular basis. Successful candidates will be managing agendas across multiple asset classes and needs to be equipped with strong analysis and delivery skills, the ability to break down complex issues, provide solutions.

This role is intended to be for an initial term of approximately 6 months only, however, subject to business needs, the contract may be extended or converted to permanent employment.

Job responsibilities

  • Initiate and execute projects focused on new business development, operational efficiencies, scalability and regulatory requirements with the Project Manager
  • Translate business requirements to system specifications based on analysis and understanding of requirement, asset classes/products in scope, booking models and system landscape across trade capture, risk management and settlement functions.
  • Develop and maintain strong partnership, collaboration and engagement with stakeholders
  • Create and maintain necessary project documentation including business cases, project plans, presentations and other necessary documentation
  • Testing management and coordination
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • At least 2 years of experience working in change management/ project management for Financial Services Industry
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to face off to demanding stakeholders, managing their expectations
  • A strong sense of ownership and responsibility
  • A self motivated individual, able to deliver with minimal supervision, whilst working effectively in a fast paced environment
  • Minimum of Bachelor\'s Degree
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Prior working experience and understanding of FICC business and derivatives trade lifecycle knowledge is preferred
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and time management skills
  • Strong MS office skills (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Visio) and Alteryx will be an advantage
