Job Description

Must have experience and familiar with the Authentic Spices and Ingredient for Mala ( ) Cuisine. . Fully in-charge in the preparation (cook) of daily used cooked Mala ( ) ingredients which include various type of Sauce, spices, stock for soup & etc. for all stores and kitchens operations. . Oversee food preparation method and ensure a consistently high-quality standard of products and compliance to Food Preparation Guide at all times. . Responsible for implementation and execution of new products and business and training processes consistently within the outlets. . Inject fresh ideas of making work processes more efficient and to suggest new ways to improve all other aspects of the business such as quality of food, staff or brand image, etc. . Ensure that all customer complaints are dealt with promptly and to take immediate remedial action. . Responsible and accountable for Indoor/Outdoor Catering/Function Event organization, included of Introduce and Inject New menu and Signature dishes to customer. . Responsible and fully in-charge for Indoor/Outdoor Catering Event/Function site (must and able to hands on), included of Foods arrangement, Foods Garnishing, Dishes Arrangement, Service Staff Arrangement and all necessary requirements involved. . Ensure compliance with all hygiene and cleanliness in accordance with Company's SOP and statutory or regulatory requirements. . Ensure that all operating standards are met/exceeded. . Responsible and accountable for the smooth operations and the highest standard of food quality for the central kitchen and assigned outlets. . Develop staff appropriately by identifying areas of training needs and taking actions to support it plan and schedule staff for training. . Promote on-going communications between Management and Operations staff, including conducting the weekly Kitchen Operations Meeting, to proactively address any issues that require attention. . To recruit, interview and select suitable personnel for positions in the Kitchen Operations . Responsible for daily stock check (FIFO) and in charge of stock purchasing. . Responsible and accountable for the yearly, monthly and daily sales, performance and achievements set by Management for the assigned brand. . Any other appropriate duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Management. . Able to Multi Tasks and to display a hands-on approach at all times. . Able to motivate staff and guide them to ensure compliance with standards. . Able to read, write and communicate in Chinese. . Able to work under humid and heat environment. . Able to load and unload goods of at least 20kg on approach . Able to work on Public Holidays, weekends and split/rotation shift. . Minimum 3 years & above of solid experiences in relevant experience in Mala ( ) Cuisine.
