Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern to support Grain\'s fulfillment operations. In this role, you will work closely with the Head of Fulfillment and cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of fulfilment operations.This internship will provide valuable hands-on experience in the fast-paced food industry and contribute to the success of the company.

Responsibilities:

• Assist the Head of Fulfillment and team members in executing daily operational tasks related to packing, dispatching, and delivery of orders.
• Support the implementation and utilisation of digital checklists, dashboards, and processes to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
• Collaborate with the Fulfillment Team to ensure timely fulfillment of customer orders while maintaining quality standards.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and coordinating with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels for smooth operations.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for fulfillment operations.
• Work with the customer service team to address any operational issues or customer concerns in a timely and effective manner.
• Utilise data and analytics tools to gather insights on operational performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Assist in conducting periodic audits to ensure compliance with internal standards.
• Support cross-functional projects and initiatives related to fulfillment operations as assigned.

• Currently pursuing a diploma/degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). We are open to consider candidates who have a passion this area even if it is not their field of studies.
• Strong organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
• Proficient in using digital tools and technology, including Google Suite and data analysis software (preferred).
• Basic understanding of operational processes and logistics.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.
• Willing to commit for at least 3-6 months.
