We are looking for an energetic and positive team-player to join our fast-growing company.We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Operations and Logistics Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in supply chain management and a passion for the food industry. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing the logistics and operations of a dynamic catering company, providing an excellent opportunity to gain practical skills and industry knowledge.Key Responsibilities:\xe2\x97\x8f Assist in the coordination and management of daily catering operations, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.\xe2\x97\x8f Support inventory management, including tracking supplies, ordering ingredients, and maintaining optimal stock levels.\xe2\x97\x8f Help develop and implement logistical plans for events, including transportation, setup, and breakdown.\xe2\x97\x8f Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure accurate and timely preparation and delivery of orders.\xe2\x97\x8f Analyze and optimize supply chain processes to improve efficiency and reduce costs.\xe2\x97\x8f Assist in the development and maintenance of operational documentation, including standard operating procedures and inventory records.\xe2\x97\x8f Support the operations team with administrative tasks as needed, such as scheduling, customer service, and invoicing.\xe2\x97\x8f Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements and innovation.Requirements:\xe2\x97\x8f Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field.\xe2\x97\x8f Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.\xe2\x97\x8f Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-focused attitude.\xe2\x97\x8f Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and familiarity with inventory management software.\xe2\x97\x8f Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.\xe2\x97\x8f Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.\xe2\x97\x8f Passion for the food industry and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.Application InstructionsPlease apply for this position by submitting your text CV using InternSG.
