Job Description

What the role is:We are looking for an Operations Manager for the Airport Logistics Park Singapore (ALPS).What you will be working on:(1) Support the General Manager (GM) in all activities related to Operation at ALPS which includes, but not limited to: \xe2\x80\xa2 Working with the GM to select service providers; \xe2\x80\xa2 Overseeing all operational matters, including setting up of operational SOPs, payment to service provider, monitoring of their performance against established service KPIs; \xe2\x80\xa2 Point-of-Contact for tenants and manage all tenants on operational concerns; \xe2\x80\xa2 Planning and executing security spot checks/ audit/ exercises; \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensure functioning and uptime of all security systems; \xe2\x80\xa2 Planning for future operations to increase efficiency and reduce cost. (2) Support GM in all activities related to compliance, but not limited to: \xe2\x80\xa2 Ensuring compliance with Part 3A - Regulation of FTZ (Free Trade Zone) Operator in the FTZ Act; \xe2\x80\xa2 Act as conduit with lessees and tenants with the authorities on compliance requirements \xe2\x80\xa2 Liaising with the relevant authorities to learn about the compliance requirements under different Acts or regulations; \xe2\x80\xa2 Working with SG Customs and ICA on queries regarding lessee and their sub-tenant\'s activities or incidents within the ALPS boundary; and to conduct or support in subsequent investigations; \xe2\x80\xa2 Collating and generating necessary reports for submission to Customs/authorities; \xe2\x80\xa2 Assisting in the preparation and submission of reports to FTZO Board, where applicable \xe2\x80\xa2 Screening of directors of lessees and their sub-tenants doing business in ALPS.What we are looking for:Candidates with experience in Logistics, Compliance, Operations and Security Management are welcome to apply.
