Job Description

You will be joining a well-established Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) solutions provider who is well-known for cabling, PCB assemblies, box build & system integrations.

Due to ambitious expansion plans in the region, they are looking for a qualified Operations Manager with experience in EMS to oversee and lead strategic operational objectives.

Job Responsibilities:

• Overall in charge for Production, Engineering, QA, Sourcing and Purchasing, Warehousing and Logistics.
• Able to lead and understand bottleneck/ operations challenges due to high-mix low-volume business nature and provide solutions for improvement in processes and best practices.
• Recruit, train and supervise staff.
• Able to earn respect of subordinates through understanding their problems, guide and jointly reach on solutions to overcome key operational issues.
• Ensures smooth running of all operations in an appropriate and cost-effective way.
• Formulate strategic and operational objectives.
• Manage budgets and forecasts.
• Perform quality controls and monitor production KPIs.
• Reports directly to General Manager and Company Board of Directors.

Requirements:

• Min. 10 - 15 years in the Electronics / EMS / Contracted Manufacturing (CM) industry with proven work experience in Operations Manager or similar role.
• Possess at least a Diploma/ Post Graduate Diploma/ Professional Degree in Engineering (Electrical / Electronic / Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electromechanical) or equivalent.
• Experience and background in EMS / Electronics / CM is a must.
• Familiar with ERP / MES system (Baan / SAP) preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with good teamwork and initiatives.
• Strong knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management.
• Experienced in budgeting, forecasting and familiarity with business and financial principles.

Base Salary ranges from SGD9,000 - 11,000 monthly.
