Operations Manager * Salary: $4,000 - $5,000 * Working Days : Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm * Location: Ang Mo Kio Requirements: * Min 5 years of relevant working experience * Graduate or ongoin Operations Manager Salary: $4,000 - $5,000 Working Days : Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm Location: Ang Mo Kio Requirements: Min 5 years of relevant working experience Graduate or ongoing studies ideally in International Trade / Logistics / Customs / Compliance Proficient in Microsoft Office Job Scope: Responsible to the Region in performing day-to-day operational tasks for those Clients assigned to them. Operations Receive shipment information from clients (invoice, HAWB, PL, Datasheets, etc). Process shipment documents. Send shipment documents/information to different agents in APAC or to offices Tracking of shipments in different web pages (DHL - FedEx - UPS) or with agents in different countries or direct contact with other offices. Autonomous solution of issues in operations matters. Prepare, update and share reports requested by clients. Coordinate phone calls with agents and clients to solve issues if needed Administration Upload shipments information to company's operative system Gather and save documents related to shipments on files and internal system Keep information updated in company system Keep services rates updated. Keep files updated. Provide reports as per Manager requests in regards with shipments status or any matter. Clients contacts Contact with foreign clients and keep them updated in regard to status of each shipment. Assist in attending conference calls and meetings. After meetings, meeting minutes preparation and follow up on updates. Support on quotations and rates. 2. Maintain regular communication with Clients and Agents within the region and with the other regional offices 3. Preparation of regular reports as per Client specific needs 4. Input and maintain accurate data in System & Basecamp (internal IT systems - both web based) as established by corporate policy/procedures and per system requirements. 5. Escalate to Regional Manager for any situation / issues when it cannot be resolved directly or if the issue requires strategic guidance/decision 6. Support on the preparation of QBRs 7. Implement, administer, and maintain agreed operational processes including Client Workbooks & Country Appendices, region invoice templates, agent details, etc 8. Active role in supporting implementations 9. Manager support. Prepare reports as per Manager's request. Administrative and operational activities as per company needs. This position will have direct contact with National & International Suppliers and Clients via emails, phone calls and sometimes face to face meetings.
