Job Description

Responsibilities:

• Oversee the Seafreight operations team in the company

• To manage the suppliers/vendor of the Seafreight operations

• To review and improve on Seafreight Import & Export processes and workflow

• Lead operation team to meet the company’s goals and KPIs set

• To provide freight planning and work on cost-effectiveness to improve Seafreight GP

• To coordinate and execute the cross trade business of other countries related to Singapore's business

• To review, align and keep Superior updated on operational issues and performances indices such as space management, resources management and operating procedures

• To ensure all procurements are in compliance and file up proper administratively

• To ensure a consistent, high-level of freight operations performance across the network

• To support the network/agent business in response to quotes and information as and when required

• To support the Commercial department in quoting process in large tenders or projects

• Ad hoc duties as assigned
  

• Degree/Diploma or above in Supply Chain/ Logistics Management or other related disciplines

• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience in the Logistics/Freight Forwarding industry will be added advantage

• Strong knowledge of Seafreight Operations and Procedures

• Experience in Cargowise will be an added advantage

• Ability to work effectively and independently in a fast-paced dynamic environment

• Positive mindset, confident and able to contribute positively within a reputable growing group

• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
